سوف ندشن قريبا سمة تجريبية جديدة على كافة مواقع الويكي وهي FileExporter. هذه السمة تسمح للمستخدم تصدير الملفات من موقع ويكي محلي إلى ويكيميديا كومنز، ويشمل ذلك تاريخ الملف وتاريخ الصفحة ذاتها. سوف يحدد مجتمع كل موقع ويكي أي الملفات التي يمكن تصديرها: لذا يرجى الرجوع إلى ملف إعدادات موقع الويكي الخاص بك لو كنت ترغب في استخدام هذه السمة.
كانت سمة FileExporter سمة تجريبية على كل من mediawiki.org وmeta.wikimedia وويكيبيديا الألمانية والفارسية والعربية والكورية وعلى wikisource.org. بعد إضافة بعض من الوظائف، أصبحت سمة تجريبية على كافة مواقع الويكي. نعتزم تدشينها يوم 16 يناير/كانون الثاني. يمكن الاطلاع على المزيد من المعلومات على صفحة المشروع.

Line numbering coming soon to all wikis

بدءا من 15 أبريل/نيسان سيمكنك تنشيط خاصية ترقيم السطور في بعض من محررات نصوص الويكي- حاليًا في قالب مساحة الاسم، و للمزيد من مساحات الاسماء قريبا سوف ييسر هذا الأمر اكتشاف فواصل السطور وكذا الإشارة إلى سطر محدد في النقاش. سوف تعرض هذه الأرقام لو نشّطت سمة تظليل الإعراب البرمجي (امتداد CodeMirror)، الذي يدعمه كلا من محررا نصوص الويكي 2010 و2017.
يمكن الاطلاع على مزيد من المعلومات على صفحة المشروع هذه. الدعوة موجهة إلى الجميع لاختبار هذه السمة وكذلك تقديم آرائهم وملاحظاتهم على صفحة النقاش هذه.

عدلبدءًا من يوم 29 أبريل/نيسان، سيصبح ممكنًا اقتراح قيم للمتغيرات في القوالب. يمكن إضافة القيم المقترحة إلى TemplateData والتي سوف تظهر في صفة قائمة منسدلة في المحرر المرئي. يسمح هذا الأمر لمستخدمي القوالب اختيار قيمة مناسبة سريعًا. وهذا الأمر يمنع احتمال حدوث أخطاء وتقليل الجهد المطلوب في ملء القالب بالقيم. سوف يظل ممكنًا ملء القيم مستخدمًا قيم خلاف تلك المقترحة.

A new feature for previewing references on your wiki

Hi. As announced some weeks ago [1] [2], Wikimedia Deutschland’s Technical Wishes team introduced Reference Previews to many wikis, including this one. This feature shows popups for references in the article text.
While this new feature is already usable on your wiki, most people here are not seeing it yet because your wiki has set a gadget as the default for previewing references. We plan to remove the default flag from the gadget on your wiki soon. This means:
- The new default for reference popups on your wiki will be Reference Previews.
- However, if you want to keep using the gadget, you can still enable it in your personal settings.
The benefit of having Reference Previews as the default is that the user experience will be consistent across wikis and with the Page Previews feature, and that the software will be easier to maintain overall.
