ويندوز لايف (بالإنجليزية: Windows Live) هي مجموعة من البرامج التي اطلقتها شركة مايكروسوفت، حيث كان أغلبها تطبيقات ويب، وكانت تُستخدم عبر المتصفح، وكان هناك ما يحتاج للتثبيت من قبل المستخدم، حيث كان هناك ثلاث طرق في ويندوز لايف والتي تقدم منها الخدمات: ويندوز لايف أساسيات تطبيقات وخدمات شبكة (بالإنجليزية: Windows Live Essentials) (بالإنجليزية: web services)، وخدمات الهاتف المتحرك (بالإنجليزية: mobile services).[1]
حيث كان ظهور ويندوز لايف لأول مرة في 1 نوفمبر 2005[2] حيث كان كبوابة مستخدم قائمة على الويب وكانت تقدم تطبيقات مايكروسوفت وتطبيقات الجهات الخارجية لتفاعل ومشاركة المستخدم بطريقة سلسة. حيث كان في إصدارها الأولي ان ذاك الوقت العديد من البرامج التي كانت لـ إم إس إن كـإم إس إن مسنجر وإم إس إن هوتميل وقامت بإعادة تسميتها.[3] ومع ذلك، إم إس إن لا يزال موجودا جنبا إلى جنب مع ويندوز لايف كوسيلة لتقديم محتوى المبرمجة (as opposed to customized content and communications) الى عام 2018.[4]
