He was joined the reda folkloric troup in 1988 as a dancer studing with Mr. Mahmoud Reda until he was declared excellent artist and solist champion of the troupe At the same time he student with global ballerina Diana Kalnty Shared all her performances as Duoto

then he participated in all the festivals and all performances with Reda Troupe inside and outside his country. He kept his place as a soloist in the Reda troupe for 15 years and also received several medals and certificates of appreciation from many countries in the five continents.

In 1990 he become a member of Egyptian Syndicate of arts professionals. In 1998 he founded the Antar Troup of egyptian folk dances performing in the most important theaters in all over the world. In 2005 he becomes instructor of Reda Troupe. In 2009 Mr. Syed Antar was declared as the highlights teacher of reda troupe by the Ministry of culture and National art academy of Egypt. (Declaration No. 400 dated 20/12/2009) Mr. Antar is now convened to impart their knowledge of the oriental and folk dance by different organizations and festivals around the world.
