About me

Before joining Wikimedia, I worked as a software engineer for a fintech company. I also volunteer as a mentor on Google Africa Developer Scholarship (GADS) programme, where we assist participants pick up cloud skills. I enjoy working with cloud technologies, technical and open source communities. I also had a stint in television working as a producer/writer/animator with some acting experience to boot ;).

I've released and currently maintain the open source library, datastore-entity. A library that brings the familiar ORM pattern to Google Cloud's NoSQL Datastore service.

My work

I work with the technical community around Wikimedia's Tools & Cloud Services. Wikimedia Cloud Services (WMCS) is a computing ecosystem built on OpenStack, GridEngine, and Kubernetes. WMCS provides tools, services, and support for technical collaborators who want to contribute to Wikimedia software projects. WMCS products and services are available for use by anyone connected with the Wikimedia movement without charge! Get started or reach out to me.
