Usage
عدل{{NFPA 704 | Health=2 | Flammability=4 | Reactivity=1 | Other=OX }}
Example:
The Health, Flammability, Reactivity and Other parameters are all optional. Use only the ones that are appropriate for the situation. Typically, the Blue, Red and Yellow sections will be filled in, as a minimum; if the hazard is not relevant, or it is known that there is no hazard in a category, assign a code of "0".
Color | Meaning | Values |
---|---|---|
Blue | Health | 0-4
|
Red | Flammability | 0-4
|
Yellow | Reactivity* | 0-4
|
White | Other | OX,
|
* Prior to 1996, this section was titled "Reactivity". In current NFPA literature the yellow section is called "Instability".
** Only OX (markup: OX) and W (markup: <strike>W</strike>) are NFPA approved symbols, although various iconic graphics are in common use to denote acid, alkali, corrosive, radiation, poison and explosive hazards.
See additional discussion about the meaning of the various codes at NFPA 704 and www.vcu.edu/oehs/chemical/labsafe/labsafetysign.pdf.
Comments
عدلThis is a great use of CSS. It's cross-browser/cross-platform friendly as well. Keep up the good work! — oo64eva (Alex) (U | T | C) @ 14:29, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Errors
عدلThank you for useful tamplate! However, sometimes it outputs the figure of reactivity in the "health" cell.
