الوصفSkyscrapercompare.svg	Deutsch: Diese Skizze zeigt die Bauwerkhöhe bis zur Spitze des höchsten Gebäudeteiles des jeweiligen Gebäudes. Wird vom Erdboden bis zum höchsten Punkt gemessen, so ist der Burj Khalifa das höchste Gebäude der Welt. Da jedoch die Antennen nicht als Teil der Bauwerkstruktur angesehen werden, ist das Willis-Tower-Gebäude kürzer als das Taipei 101. Hält man sich an die Gebäudehöhen-Messmethode bei der dekorative Elemente gezählt werden, nicht jedoch Antennen, so ist die Reihenfolge der höchsten Gebäude wie folgt: Burj Khalifa, Taipei 101, Petronas Towers und danach der Willis Tower gefolgt vom Empire State Building.
