English: The PDSA Dickin Medal. The PDSA Dickin Medal was first instituted by the UK's leading veterinary charity PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) in 1943. It is the highest award any animal can receive in recognition of conspicuous gallantry or devotion to duty while serving in military conflict.
