English: Hans Zimmer brought his spectacular live show to Britain's biggest indoor arena - the Manchester Arena (aka AO) above Man Vic station on Friday 16th June 2023. With the Orchestra of the Odessa Opera in residence and host of talented multi-instrumentalists, there wre up to 45 people on stage at any one time. Zimmer seemed to be enjoying himself and engaged widely with the audience during a two-part three hour set that covered music from 31 film scores. The ariel ballet sequence accompanying Interstellar was magical. Manc lad Johnny Marr of the The The and The Smiths joined his son Nile Marr on guitar for the last couple of numbers; Niall being a permanent member of Zimmer's entourage.
