Aseel was born on May 13, 1997, in Nazareth, where she grew up and graduated from Franciscan Sisters’ School in 2015.

During high school, she participated in acting classes at an arts center in Nazareth city between the years 2011 - 2015. She appeared on stage for the first time in 2013 at the age of sixteen in the play “A Day in Our Time” by the Syrian writer Saadallah Wannous, as part of the acting courses and learning process.

In 2017, she began her university studies in the acting track in the Department of Theater Arts at Tel Aviv University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2020 and a master’s degree in 2021 with excellently. During her academic studies, she played a variety of central and major roles in international and classic plays, such as Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, “ A Midsummer Night’s Dream ” by William Shakespeare, “ Six Characters in Search of an Author ” by Luigi Pirandello, and “Princess Yvonne” by Vitold Gombrowicz, She participated in several short films with cinema and directing students at the university.

Aseel began her professional career in 2019 as “Donia” in the third season of the series Fauda, directed by Rotem Shamir.

In 2021, she starred in the movie “Cinema Sabaya” directed by Orit Fox Rotem, which won the Best Debut Film Award at the Jerusalem Film Festival. The film also won 5 Ophir Awards out of 12 nominations, the most important of which is the Best Feature Film Award for 2022.

In 2022, she portrayed "Aya" in the TV series "Traitor", written by Ron Leshem and Amit Cohen and directed by Assaf Polonsky, which was broadcast on the HOT channel.

In addition to being an actress, Aseel started her journalism career in 2022, working as a news anchor, TV host, and editor at i24NEWS Arabic channel in Jaffa port.
