Services and Global Impact:

In the early 1980s, when there arose a need for technological programs in Arabic and companies were facing challenges in finding operating systems that supported the Arabic language, Saudisoft decided to develop and produce programs that offered technological solutions in Arabic and introduce them to the market, some of which are still in use today. They began by localizing the first accounting software at that time, "Peachtree," and localizing the "CITIZEN" printer. As a result, CITIZEN rewarded Saudisoft by making it a partner in distributing CITIZEN products throughout Saudi Arabia.

Their primary focus was on the "Arabic Assistant" program, which they introduced to the market in 1987. This was followed by a distinguished range of programs such as Al-Waseet and Al-Khatt Al-Arabi. Additionally, Saudisoft assisted several renowned international companies in providing operating systems that supported the Arabic language.

Mitsubishi chose Saudi soft to localize its control systems, and UNISYS enlisted Saudi soft to localize a range of central stations and design stations to accommodate the rules of classical Arabic.

Saudi soft also lent its expertise in localizing the Windows application development tool for Powersoft, enhancing its capabilities to support and develop Arabic language requirements under Microsoft Arabic Windows.

Saudi soft assisted in developing and localizing these converters, encouraging Microsoft to rely on Saudi soft to localize Microsoft Access and introduce it to Arabic-speaking markets and the entire Middle East.

Since then, Saudi soft has localized a large number of Microsoft products, including:

·       Windows 98

·       Internet Explorer 4.0 & 5.0

·       Internet Information Server (IIS)

·       Office 2000 (Access and Excel)

·       Windows Millennium

·       Windows XP

The company later expanded its activities to include translation and localization services in various fields such as marketing, education, gaming, and more.
