ديفيد توماس (بالإنجليزية: David Thomas) هو محامي وسياسي أمريكي، ولد في 10 ديسمبر 1795 في مقاطعة ويلسون في الولايات المتحدة، وتوفي في 1836.[1][2][3]

[para.] Thomas was one of the four representatives from the municipality of Refugio to the Convention of 1836 at Washington-on-the-Brazos and there signed the Declaration of Independence. On March 17, the Convention elected Thomas, who was evidently a lawyer, the ad interim attorney general of the Republic. When Thomas J. Rusk, secretary of war, left the cabinet to join the army, Thomas was made acting secretary of war, thus holding two positions at the same time.")
