تُعرف عدة سمات حضارية بأنها سمات مميزة لشعوب المسيسيبي. ورغم ذلك، لا تمارس جميع شعوب المسيسيبي كافة الأنشطة التالية، حيث إنهم يتميزون عن أسلافهم في تبنيهم لبعض هذه المميزات أو جميعها.</h1></h1>
