For most of its history, Aeroflot's fleet consisted entirely of planes built by Soviet manufacturers [[أنتونوف (شركة)]], [[إليوشن]], and [[توبوليف]]. Following the Soviet Union's dissolution and subsequent partition of the airline, Aeroflot began replacing its old Soviet aircraft with Western and modern Russian models.
