Hi ,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to revive the dead project of spoken articles in the education program. We have quite 392 featured articles in wikiar and quite 351 good ones. One of the activities can be recording with audacity those articles. I've searched in the English version of the program for an Arabic program but I didn't found. On the opposite, the students in the Arab world can record featured articles in other languages, for example the Spanish program in the Egyptian universities can record featured articles from the Spanish wikipedia. The best audio file will be used in the article if there is no one already. The exercise can be a good one to learn reading and pronouncing. Here is some links. See the Arabic version of those links too.

: Hi good to hear from you!

: I can suggest the idea to the program leaders who run Wikipedia Education Programs that I work with. I know that students in Mexico did audio recordings of place names, for example. Recording entire articles would be a whole different thing, and could be good with the right students and the right setting. Would you be willing to help out with a course that focused on audio recordings?

:Hope you are well! TFlanagan WMF (نقاش) 04:15، 18 سبتمبر 2015 (ت ع م)
