أحمد سوكارنو عبد الحافظ حسين ويشتهر سوكارنو (مواليد 12 يناير 1958 في دهميت، محافظة أسوان) هو كاتب وناقد أدبي وباحث أكاديمي، ورئيس لقسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية الآداب في جامعة أسوان، والعميد الساق لكلية الآداب بجامعة أسوان.

دراسته

تخرج من جامعة أسيوط بليسانس الآداب تخصص اللغة الإنجليزية عام 1981، ثم حصل على تمهيدي الماجستير من كلية الآداب في جامعة سوهاج عام 1984. أكمل تعليمه بعد ذلك في الولايات المتحدة، وحصل درجة الماجستير في اللغويات من جامعة نيويورك عام 1985، ومن الجامعة ذاتها حصل درجة الدكتوراه في اللغويات عام 1988.

حياته العملية

بدأ سوكارنو حياته العملية الأكاديمية بعد أن عُيّن معيدًا بقسم اللغة الإنجليزية في كلية أسيوط عام 1981 عقب تخرّجه. وبعد عودته من الولايات المتحدة، عُين عام 1988 مدرسًا بقسم اللغة الإنجليزية في كلية الآداب بجامعة جنوب الوادي، وترقى ليصبح أستاذًا مساعدًا بها عام 1994. شغل أيضًا منصل القائم بعمل رئيس قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية الآداب في الجامعة ذاتها بين عامي 1995 و2004، وخلال تلك الفترة شغل عدة مناصب منها وكيل الكلية لشؤون الطلاب عامي 1995 و1996، ووكيل الكلية للدراسات العليا والبحوث بين عامي 1996 و1999. انتقل عام 2000 لجامعة أسوان وشغل منصب مشرف قسم اللغة الإنجليزية في كلية الآداب، وعين مشرفا للكلية في العامين الدراسيين 2002–03 و2005–06، وبين عامي 2009 و2011، حتى عُيّن أستاذًا في كلية الآداب بجامعة أسوان عام 2009، كما عٌيّن عميدًا للكلية بين عامي 2011 و2014.
